How do I register for Philly Run Fest?
Click here to register online. Registration for all Philly Run Fest events will close on Monday, June 1st.
What is included with Philly Run Fest Registration?
Registration for Philly Run Fest includes:
Soft, tri-blend race tee
Chip timing on a USATF certified course
Post Race Festival & Beer Garden including a cold, post-race beer (for runners age 21+)*
Free photographs courtesy of Gameface Media x Strava
Uninterrupted running through of the largest urban parks in the country!
How do I confirm that I am registered for Philly Run Fest?
Registered runners can log in to view their registration through their runsignup account.
How do I update my email address, shirt size, predicted pace time, etc.?
Registered runners can edit their information through their runsignup account.
Can I switch events after I register?
Yes, runners can transfer between Philly Run Fest events through their runsignup account.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Yes, runners can transfer their registration to a different person through their runsignup account.
What if I can no longer participate in the race I am registered for?
Registration for Philly Run Fest events is non-refundable. If you can no longer participate in the event you signed up for, you can:
Transfer to a different Philly Run Fest event
Transfer your registration to a different person
Defer your entry to next year (with medical documentation)
Is there an official training program for Philly Run Fest?
We are proud to partner with Philadelphia Runner’s individual and group training programs.
Individual Training: PR Coaching offers individual training plans for every runner - whether you're lacing up for your first 5K, you're an experienced marathoner, or somewhere in between.
Group Training: TEAM PHILLY Race Training was created to support the Philadelphia area’s beginner to intermediate runners in their aspirations of running the Broad Street Run, Philadelphia Marathon or Half Marathon, and now Philly Run Fest.
PRE RACE QUESTIONS
Is there an official race expo?
Details for the official Philly Run Fest Bib Pick-up Party will be announced shortly after registration officially opens.
What do I need to bring to pick up my bib and shirt for the race?
To pick up your bib and shirt, please bring your confirmation email and ID.
Can someone else pick up my race bib and shirt?
Yes! If someone else is picking up your bib and shirt, please provide them with your confirmation email and copy of your ID.
Can I pick up my bib on race day?
Race day bib pick-up is available only to runners who purchase this option during registration.
There is NO general race day bib pick-up.
Do you need volunteers for Philly Run Fest?
YES! Philly Run Fest would not be possible without the support and help from the Philadelphia Running Community and friends. We need volunteers to assist with bib pick-up on Friday and Saturday and, more importantly, on race day. Please consider supporting your fellow runners and add your name to our volunteer contact list!
RACE DAY QUESTIONS
Where and when does the race start?
All Philly Run Fest races start in front of the Please Touch Museum in Fairmount Park
In the Half Marathon Relay, runner 2 will start at the relay transition point located at Randolph & Reservoir Drives
How do I get to the race start?
Please visit our Race Day Directions and Parking page for information on getting to the start.
There is free street parking near the start.
There is a free race day shuttle to the start from Center City.
How early should I get to the race start?
We recommend that you plan to arrive at least one hour before the start of your race to give yourself enough time to park, walk to the start area, visit the portapotties, and check your gear. Remember there are a lot of people all heading to the same destination on race day.
Where does the race finish?
All Philly Run Fest races finish on MLK Drive between Black Road and the PA Center for Adapted Sports Parking lot
In the Half Marathon Relay, runner 1 will finish at the relay transition point located at Randolph & Reservoir Drives
Is there gear check on race day?
Yes, runners can check their gear at the Gear Check Tent on race day in the clear bag provided during bib pick-up.
Will there be pace teams?
The Philadelphia Runner Pace Teams will be pacing the half marathon on race day. Pace Team Times are: 1:30, 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:10, 2:20, and 2:30.
Is there a time limit?
Participants in all Philly Run Fest races must be able to maintain a 16 minute per mile pace on race day. Participants unable to maintain this pace may be asked to move off of the course and on to the sidewalk if they intend to finish the race.
Are bikes, rollerblades, or strollers allowed on the course?
Unfortunately, the Philly Run Fest courses are not open to bikes, rollerblades, or strollers during the event.
We will have volunteers on bike leading and sweeping each course.
Where can my family, friends, neighbors watch the race?
